Managing your subscription

Billing and Plans

Written by Michael Flatman

When you start your free trial with Edge, your subscription is managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

You get full access to your personalised training plan right away - no charge until your trial ends. You can choose either a monthly, 6-month or annual plan, and you will only be billed if you decide to continue.

Important: If you don’t want to continue, you will need to cancel your trial at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid being charged. This is a rule from Apple and Google that we cannot change.

Cancelling vs deleting your account

These are two different things, and it is worth knowing which one you actually want:

  • Cancelling your subscription (this article) stops future billing. Your Edge account, plan and progress are kept so you can pick up where you left off if you come back.

  • Deleting your account permanently removes your data. See How to Delete Your Edge Account if that’s what you’re after.

What Happens When You Cancel

  • You will keep access to your plan until the end of your current billing period

  • Once the period ends, your access to workouts will pause

  • Your training history, stats and goals are saved in the background

  • If you resubscribe later, just log back in - we’ll pick up where you left off and refresh your plan if it has gone stale

Edge plans are adaptive, so if you come back after a long break we may adjust things so your first sessions match where your body is now, not where it was when you paused.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

Deleting the app will not cancel your subscription.
To avoid future charges, you will need to cancel through the platform where you subscribed:

You can cancel at any time. If you cancel during a paid period, you will still have access until the end of that billing cycle, but no refunds will be issued for time already paid.

Think You Were Charged by Mistake?

If you believe you were wrongly charged after cancelling your trial, you can request a refund directly from Apple using this form. Unfortunately, due to Apple’s policies, all billing and refund requests must go through them.

If you still need a hand, message us from the in-app support chat or email [email protected].
