If you want to permanently remove your Edge account, you can do it yourself from inside the app. This article walks you through it and explains what happens when you delete.
Delete vs cancel - which one do you want?
These are two different things:
Cancelling your subscription stops future billing but keeps your account, plan and progress so you can come back later. See Managing your subscription.
Deleting your account (this article) permanently removes your data. You cannot undo it.
If you just want to stop paying, you probably want to cancel, not delete.
How to delete your account
Open the Edge app
Tap your Profile in the top right
Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen
Tap Delete Account
Confirm by typing DELETE in the prompt, then tap Delete
Your account will be removed right away and you'll be signed out.
What gets deleted
Your Edge profile, training plan, workout history and stats
Your login credentials
Any connected Strava authorisation is removed automatically
Important - cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your Edge account does not cancel an active subscription. Billing is handled by Apple or Google, not by us, so if you have an active subscription you'll need to cancel it in the App Store or Play Store too - otherwise you'll keep being charged.
For iPhone: Cancel on iOS
For Android: Cancel on Google Play
We recommend cancelling your subscription first, waiting for the current billing period to end, and then deleting your account.
Changed your mind?
Before you delete, consider messaging us in the app - if there's something we can fix or a break you need, we'd much rather help than lose you. Email [email protected] or tap Profile β Help.
