Why don't my exercises change much?

One of the most common questions we get is: "Why am I doing the same exercises each week?" The honest answer is that this is where real progress happens.

Why we keep your exercises consistent

1. You get better at the movements Repeating exercises lets your body learn them. You move with better form and get more from every rep.

2. You can track your progress Repeating sessions shows you what's changing: more weight, more reps, faster times.

3. It builds real strength and endurance Progress comes from gradually increasing weight, reps or intensity, not from constantly swapping exercises.

So when do they change?

Edge plans are built in blocks. You usually keep the same main exercises for two blocks (around 8 weeks): the first to learn them, the second to push the load. Then your plan brings in new exercises.

Exercises are also held through a race run-in and lighter (deload) weeks, so you never meet a start line on lifts you've only just learned.

Want a change sooner?

You can swap an exercise at any time from the exercise's menu: choose Swap, then Just this workout or All workouts in block.
